Jamie Furness, MD
Dr. Furness has specialty training in hand and upper extremity from the Mary S. Stern Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to that, she completed her orthopaedic surgery residency through William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Furness’ focus/interests include upper extremity trauma and reconstruction, peripheral nerve injuries, sports injuries, and arthritic conditions. She is passionate about mentoring women in the orthopaedic field. She is a current member of the Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society as well as previously served as a resident mentor for the Women in Surgery interest group at Oakland University Medical School and a resident volunteer for The Perry Initiative. During her free time, Dr. Furness enjoys running, traveling, playing with her dog, and spending time with family.
