James Ellis, MD
Dr. Ellis specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, electrodiagnostic medicine and pain management. He is board certified. Dr. Ellis is dedicated to the outpatient management of musculoskeletal disorders, including neck and back pain, sports medicine, nerve injuries, nerve pain, occupational injuries and EMG. He is one of the most experienced electromyographys in the state of Michigan having performed over 25,000 EMGs. He is board certified in electrodiagnostic medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is also a member of the North American Spine Society. He is a clinical assistant professor at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Because of his leadership qualities, he has been elected to numerous professional committees and currently serves on the OAM operations and executive committees. He is passionate about treating patients in a holistic approach with an emphasis on nutrition, exercise and staying active.
