Occupational Therapy
OAM has the largest team of certified hand therapists in the state and has been providing care for more than 35 years. Our highly specialized occupational therapists educate patients and facilitate individualized treatments for each patient to return to their maximum potential after injury or illness. We offer an on-staff ergonomic specialist to assist patients with optimizing their work habits in order to prevent further injury. In addition, we offer evaluation of fall risk and balance with daily tasks and provide comprehensive treatment to facilitate upper and lower extremity strength, increase balance and problem solve with the patient to optimize safety and function for completion of their daily tasks. As part of the comprehensive care at OAM, our occupational therapy team strives to increase independence and safety with fewer visits and lower costs.
